Koei-DigiPen (Singapore) Art ContestHo Yan Hao, DigiPen (Singapore) final year student announced as winner of Koei DigiPen Art Contest.
Ho Yan Hao, 26, a final year student in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation program at DigiPen (Singapore) emerged as the winner of the first Koei DigiPen Art Contest which was held in April. As part of the strategic partnership between DigiPen (Singapore) and Koei Tecmo Singapore, the contest aims to nurture budding talent in the game design industry in Singapore while strengthening the partnership between the two companies.
Yan Hao, who will graduate this August, took home a cash prize of $1,000. “This is the first game design contest I’ve taken part in. I was pretty surprised to have won.”Second prize went to Goh Yu Xin, who won cash of $500 and third prize goes to two winners Leong Hong Ching and Josephine Alvina Prasetyo, who won $200 each.
Mr Raymond Wong, Senior Vice President of Koei Tecmo Singapore said, “we work together with DigiPen (Singapore) to identify candidates that we can groom as talents. We have employed many DigiPen (Singapore) graduates in the past, so we know they are valuable assets.”
